Center Point Historical Society news

On Sunday, September 10, the Center Point Historical Society will host a slide show entitled, “The Cedar Valley Road.” The slide show is about the Waterloo, Cedar Falls and Northern electric interurban railroad between Waterloo and Cedar Rapids. Dysart Historical Center Program, Sunday, Aug. 20

Have you ever wondered about Dysart Main Street History? Marcia Knupp will present a program at the Dysart Historical Museum located at 612 Crisman Street on the topic. The public is invited to the Agricultural Museum on Sunday, August 20, beginning at 2 p.m. to enjoy the program. Knupp will be sharing some historical information on past establishments that lined Dysart’s Main Street.

Advanced Planning session at the Library Tuesday, August 15 2:00 p.m.

Boomfest August 26th beginning at 9:00 a.m.
